GARDENING TALKS
Maureen is an author, plantswoman and garden designer who has a lifetime of horticultural experience, and several books on gardening, under her belt.

Maureen has delivered many talks and courses, both locally and nationally, notably at the
Royal Horticultural Society's flagship garden at Wisley, and The Garden Museum in London.

If you want to know which plants to grow in your garden to attract and sustain bees, then this talk is for you. Drawing from her own experiences of gardening and beekeeping, Maureen will share her knowledge of how bees access the pollen and nectar vital for their existence, and what type of plants best meet the bees’ needs.

Find out about how to grow and use some common – and more unusual – culinary herbs in this illustrated talk.

GARDENS IN FINE ART

Gardens have been a source of inspiration for artists for centuries. In this illustrated talk we will view depictions of gardens in the work of some famous artists (Monet, for example) - and some that are not so well-known (anyone heard of Frieseke?)

Clubs and Societies with up to 50 members - £90 + travel

Clubs and Societies with more than 50 members - £150 + travel

Events (eg Flower Shows) – minimum £500 + travel

TRAVELLING AND ACCOMMODATION

Travelling is charged at 40p per mile.

(The distance is calculated according to the AA Routeplanner, starting point PR3 3YN.)

Rail fare, if appropriate, is charged at cost.

Overnight accommodation, if necessary, is charged at cost (typically Premier Inn standard).
